Inventory Manager
Our Inventory Manager is an integral part of keeping The Begonia Club on the rails. For successful order execution- we need all of our moving parts to flow efficiently behind the scenes. As a company whose primary focus is ‘behind the scenes’- you’ll be an important part of keeping our team and our clients happy.
This role is made up of two primary components- 50% computer-based, handling inventory listings & counts; and 50% warehouse activity & staff management in conjunction with our Operations Manager. This is a non-creative role and warehouse/inventory experience will be more important than floral/event experience.
Responsibilities:
Inventory
- Active tracking throughout the year, with full inventory counts done 2 times a year
- Receive and document incoming items- measurements, description accuracy in inventory tracking system, address any shipping errors or damage
- Keep maintenance guides up-to-date. Ensure efficient, safe, and material-specific practices for cleaning inventory
- Direct proactive inventory maintenance- ie van upkeep, workspace needs, waterproofing vessels, etc
- Maintain overall warehouse organization
Order Oversight
- Engage with Begonia Client Specialists & Clients regarding order updates
- Fill upcoming inventory needs- acquire new items, replace damaged inventory, coordinate custom paint or fabrication needs, etc.
- Oversee client order fulfillment and cleaning upon order returns
- Oversee order shipping in/out & Begonia client receiving services
- Work space rental management
Team
- Manage warehouse staff – supervise inventory cleaning and maintenance
- Attend weekly team meetings & collaborate with the rest of the Begonia Club team on company growth
Time Commitment
- This is a full-time position.
- Flexibility for a 4 or 5 day work week depending on the season, 40 hours
- On-call responsibilities for some weekends – available by phone for customer assistance
Experience
- Warehouse Experience
- Familiar with the Google Suite, Sheets
- Comfortable learning new computer software
- Team Player – will be expected to help execute order prep when needed
- Spanish-speaking is a plus
- Organized, Efficient, Attention to detail
- Able to switch tasks easily
- Hard-Working
- People Skills
- Able to lift 50 pounds

Location
We are currently based in West Ashley, planning on moving to the neck of the downtown peninsula in mid-2025. This is an in-person position.
As The Begonia Club grows we expect our inventory manager to have the flexibility to adapt to unique needs that may come up.
